NAME OF SPONSOR(S): LIVE with Regis and Kelly, 7 Lincoln Square, New York, New York 10023 ("LIVE"); American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., 77 West 66th Street, 16th Floor, New York, New York 10023 ("ABC") (Hereinafter collectively referred to as "Sponsor").
ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be registered users of Twitter who are 18 years of age or older as of Sweepstakes start date who are followers of Regis_and_Kelly ‘s twitter account at the time of entry/ draw and legal resident of the 50 U.S., D.C. or Canada (except the Province of Quebec), with the exception of Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law.
Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for LIVE with Regis and Kelly (the "Show"), American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., Buena Vista Television, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the contest or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to nominate or be nominated. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.
HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
The week of the Relly Awards, September 28, 2009, the Twitterelly awards will begin. Each day of Relly week after the show has aired in all time zones the Show will tweet a question about a different category asking participants to respond with the name of the winner of that category.
The approximate format for the daily question will be: #Twitterelly, Who won today's #Relly for(category)? To enter, copy and paste: #Relly (category): (insert name of winner).
Entrants must write/tweet: #Relly (category): (winner) to be eligible.
These questions will be tweeted at approximately 4pm each day of the Sweepstakes. Entrants must reply with their answer/tweet between 4pm and 6pm ET on the same day the question is posed.
Entrants may enter as many times as they wish.
LIVE can provide no technical support and accepts no responsibility for insuring the receipt or successful submission of your entry.
Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received. Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this sweepstakes.
Odds of winning will depend on the number of valid entries received.
HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED: Each day of the Sweepstakes that day's entries/tweets will be printed in no particular order and numbered. A random number generator will be used and the entry with the coordinating number will be deemed the winner.
Entrants must be registered Regis_and_Kelly followers or entry will be disqualified.
Each day of the Sweepstakes that day's winner will be announced via twitter at approximately 7pm the same day the winner is selected. Winner will also be sent a Twitpic of Regis and Kelly with a Relly and their handle/username photo inserted into the picture.
Winning usernames MAY also be read during the inbox segment on the following day the Show airs.
At the end of Rellys Awards Week all daily winners will be entered into an entry pool and one winner will be randomly selected to win the Grand Prize.
PRIZES:
The Twitterelly Grand Prize winner will receive a $500 gift card.
Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more. Consult with your personal tax advisor for any potential tax implications this prize may have for you.
Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain cash or other substitutes, but Sponsor in its sole discretion may substitute prizes of equal or greater value. All expenses not specifically provided for herein are the winner's sole responsibility. Some restrictions may apply.
- RELEASES: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor / Judges and the contest administrator, which shall be final in all respects.
By participating in this contest and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release LIVE with Regis and Kelly, American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., each of their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this contest and/or acceptance, use or misuse of the prize.
Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their username/identity, name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner's list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.
To claim prize winner must: (a) provide proof of age, identity and residency; (b) sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification; and (c) finalize any other documentation requested by Sponsors.
MISCELLANEOUS; WINNERS' LIST: Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the contest in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the contest as originally planned.
