We asked the contestants about their favorite "Idol Moments" and here's what they said:
David Cook: "This entire experience has been great but the best part has been the amazing friends I've made, not just other contestants but also the production staff, everyone felt like a close knit family."
David Archuleta: "The highlight for me was making it to the finals and being up there with David Cook."
Syesha Mercado: "I really loved being a part of "Idol Gives Back," and going to my hometown with the show was so amazing."
Jason Castro: "A week before I performed "Over the Rainbow," I went out and bought a ukulele, learned how to play it, and performed "Over the Rainbow" for the first time playing the ukulele!"
Brook White: "I loved performing "Let it Be" and getting to spend time and speak with Carly Simon."
Carly Smithson: I loved meeting so many new friends, getting to be a part of the group performances, and during Hollywood week when I sang, "Alone."
Kristy Lee Cook: "Making the Top 10, qualifying for the American Idol Tour and singing my farewell performance sitting on the desk right in front of Simon Cowell!"
Michael Johns: "Going to Saturday Night Live and doing an impromptu performance with Ashton Kutcher at the after-party was pretty incredible."
Ramiele Malubay: "All of it...Hollywood Week was great."
Chikezie: "I loved going shopping for clothes on the show. My favorite purchase was the orange suit."
Amanda Overmyer: "I loved performing on the big stage!"
